The OPEN DOOR is committed to providing the western Indiana and eastern Illinois population with the finest in Christian products. These products will be of Biblical base for the purpose of meeting the needs of individuals and the building of the body of believers.
The OPEN DOOR is located just off of US Highway 41 in Terre Haute. Turn west from 41 onto the W Honey Creek Parkway, which is across from E Davis Drive. From there, turn right at Hardee's and follow the parkway as it curves around the right side of the mall. Continue on the same road until you can go no further, then turn left onto S 3rd Place. The OPEN DOOR will be on your right.
Description and Mission
The OPEN DOOR was founded in 1984 by Doris Farmer. The original location was in the Honey Creek Mall with a space of 1800 square feet.
In 1993 the OPEN DOOR moved to the present location. That same year Doris Farmer sold the business to Ron and Diana Forster. In 1998 a major addition provided the floor space to reach a total of 9000 square feet.
